This apple salad is a good appetizer and contains good blend of vitamins, minerals and fibers.

diced apples2 cups
grapefruit sections2 cups
chopped celery1 cup
mayonnaise¾ cup
honey2-3 tablespoon
lemon juice1 tablespoon

Recipe method for preparing apple salad

  • Cut each grapefruit section into two or three pieces after removing the membranes. Mix the cut and diced fruits and celery in a large bowl.
  • Mix the mayonnaise and lemon juice well, preferably in a blender for dressing.
  • Pour the dressing contents on the fruit mixture and mix well by tossing.
  • Check for the sufficiency of dressing and add more of it if you feel the preparation a bit dry.
  • Chill the bowl with contents in refrigerator for one hour.
  • Sprinkle honey over individual bowl while serving. Avoid refrigerating honey as it may give a color of odd brown crust over the preparation.
  • You can serve this as salad or dessert.
