
Apple salad recipe «with grapefruit»
This apple salad is a good appetizer and contains good blend of vitamins, minerals and fibers.
| diced apples | 2 cups |
| grapefruit sections | 2 cups |
| chopped celery | 1 cup |
| mayonnaise | ¾ cup |
| honey | 2-3 tablespoon |
| lemon juice | 1 tablespoon |
Recipe method for preparing apple salad
- Cut each grapefruit section into two or three pieces after removing the membranes. Mix the cut and diced fruits and celery in a large bowl.
- Mix the mayonnaise and lemon juice well, preferably in a blender for dressing.
- Pour the dressing contents on the fruit mixture and mix well by tossing.
- Check for the sufficiency of dressing and add more of it if you feel the preparation a bit dry.
- Chill the bowl with contents in refrigerator for one hour.
- Sprinkle honey over individual bowl while serving. Avoid refrigerating honey as it may give a color of odd brown crust over the preparation.
- You can serve this as salad or dessert.
